Executive Summary

“It was one of the fastest and most successful event for Japan-USA business relationship,” officials from Washington States commented, afterwards. 6 Japanese delegation, including Softbank, Hikari Tsushin, SMK, Acrodea, ISI-Dentsu and Dentsu arrived from Japan or their US offices in search for innovations in Seattle. On March 10th, over 100 participants attended the Seminar and Meetup event at Columbia Club. On March 11th, 20 Startups met with 5 Japanese delegates for 45 one-on-one sessions at WSDoC. 2 companies have been already successful in negotiating joint development deals. All of 6 Japanese companies have reported that they will move forward with some of these startups.
